About SmarterCalls

SmarterCalls is a non-profit based in Birmingham, England. We make a conference call more rewarding by giving a portion of every call’s cost to charity, without charging the customer a single penny more.

We share our telecoms infrastructure with Powwwownow and PGi, two of the world's largest international conference call providers. So you can be confident of the same high call quality, reliability and security.

Businesses in the UK spend around £350m a year on conference calls. Most of the money conference call companies charge is then spent on marketing and sales. Imagine what we could do if we redirected a small percentage of this?

To date conference callers have raised money for Save the Children, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and the Marine Conservation Society. In September we started working with Born Free, an animal welfare charity, and are continuing to add other charities.

A one hour conference call can raise £3, enough to provide meals for 3 homeless people in Birmingham or feed a child in war torn Syria for a week.
